This is my first post on here so here goes.
I have bought a 1.9dti vivaro a few weeks ago. I knew the egr was broken so I read up and had a go at blanking it.
I removed the outer section, which somebody previously had mauled. The inner section was stuck so I tapped and drilled and got it out. I fitted new gasket, blanking plate and then outer section of valve before plugging in.
Now it won't start. It sounds like it tries to fire, but doesn't actually start.
Please can somebody advise...
