After getting back to the UK I finally got hold of my OBD2 code reader that has been following me around Europe! Anyway, one code - P0100 - MAF sensor circuit low, which pretty much means knackered MAF.
I wanted to run some part numbers past you guys. I've bought a good used part with the same part number: 5WK97008 - that's the same as the one on my van. However, one of the codes also written near the part number are thus:
Mine: 8200 280 060/--C
Replacement: 8200 280...
