I have now narrowed the problems I am experiencing with the central locking of the sliding door down to the pad on the 'B' pillar and the sprung prongs themselves on the door.
I went into my local Vauxhall dealer today (there isn't a Renault or Nissan dealership for many a long mile) and very nearly passed out when they advised me how much they wanted for these 2 small parts............ very nearly £80 !
