Hi, I'm new to these forum things so I'm probably doing this all wrong but I will plough on regardless, I have just acquired a 2002 vivaro van minus the gearbox. This has been removed and disposed off, it was a six speed and as far as I can tell the only 6 speed is the pk6, the others being pf1 and pk5 both of which are 5 speed? So my question being if I buy a secondhand pk6 gearbox, will it fit? Or is there more to it?

Electric Window Relay Switch Location????
Hi All
The passenger side electric window on my 2005 Vivaro has stopped working. For the last month its been hit & miss, and now its totally stopped working!
This morning I've taken the door panel/trim off to get to the window motor. I took the motor off the window regulator to test it and it will only spin in one direction! when pressing the switch. Tested the motor with a direct 12v supply and reversed the polarity and the motor did spin in both directions.

Vivaro ABS LIght
Hi All
need a little help. I've just replaced my front two lower control arms, in order to do this you have to remove the abs sensor and wire as it is clipped to the arm, after putting all back together my ABS and spanner light is light and will not go out, any ideas as it is doin my head in.

Vivaro Speedo ABS Problem
Hi I have a problem with my van it is a 54 model built January 05. The ABS light came on and the speedo stopped working. I have changed the speed wheel sensor and still doesn't work so it was then put on a diagnostics and was told that the van doesn't have ABS so I checked the connections on the ABS unit and they seem fine. I then had some else have a look and he said that his system also said no ABS on the van. Has anybody else had a similar problem. Cheers Sam

Flywheel Ribe bit size please?
I'm taking the flywheel of a 57 plate Vivaro (well a Trafic actually) and the fixing bolts are not a size M10 or size M12 ribe bit fitting. I therefore assume it is a size M11, but can anyone else confirm this?
M11's are not seen in kits much, so I could not get one this weekend, will look on Monday, but if anyone had done it before please?
Engine code is an M9R and it has a solid Flywheel, (not DMF)

My New (old) Vivaro Day Van Project So Far!
Hello All,
New member here, been lurking around looking at all the advice! Some great looking vans, I wanted a yellow one after checking out the mods thread but the mrs wouldn't let me! Haha
So I have a white one that I plan to slowly convert to a day van for our family.

Vauxhall Vivaro gearbox problem
Hi,
Since July last year I had slight difficulties putting the gear stick into gear. Today I found that I could no longer put it into third, no matter what I tried.
I have no knowledge of mechanics but wanted to know is there something between the gear stick and the gearbox that would stop the stick from going into gear. . . . when I try to put it into gear it seems blocked (only way to describe it). . . or is it definately the gearbox in which case what would the alternatives be please?

Vivaro Gearbox problem?
I went to drive my Vivaro this morning and it was very difficult to select any gear. The symptoms were that the location of gears was very vague and it was extremely stiff with a fair amount of resistance. The problem suddenly went away though after about 35 miles.
The gearbox housing was fairly warm and I am not sure how relevant that is. The gearbox oil has been changed within the last 1000 miles.
I know that Vivaros have gearbox issues so was keen to find out what the symptoms...

Hard to engage 1st gear
Hi guys, I really struggle to select first gear some times. If it won't go in I usually just slide down to second then back up and it goes in ok, my Astra has the same problem selecting reverse. My vivaro paper work says gear selector has been replaced and cost £30. Any info appreciated.

Vivaro 2007 Problem
Ive got a 2007 Vauxhall Vivaro done about 150k miles ,no problems, full good service history, Started cutting out on me, couple of red Stop lights would come on plus engine management light,would turn ignition off,and then would re-start no problems..

I'm completely stumped here, I have tried researching on the internet for an answer to my problem for the last week to no avail. I have just come across this forum and have also done a search but cant find anyone with my specific problem.

Camper conversions
Hi Guys,
I'm very interested to see if anyone had fitted or made their own camper conversion into their Vivaro?
I'm considering putting in an overnight camper interior in mine, but it would need to be removable. Not an ideal scenario I know, but I'm a man of means, have a well equipped garage and am quite handy.
You can get removable rock n roll beds (I assume - using the mushroom bolts), it would mean the cabinets would ideally slide in from the back or be held together with flight case...

Rear indicator bulb change how do I get at it

2 mileage read outs!!!
Hey chaps how come I have 2 mileage read outs ?? First one is when you turn the ignition on 2nd one is after about a minute all the old mot records are for the first read out.

Rear drivers side indicator

I seem to have a problem with my drivers side rear indicator I thought the bulb had gone but its not when I took the casing off the bulb was fine I have done this 5 times now and when I put it all back together it's fine but the next time I went out it started again all the looms seem intact, what am I missing???

vivaro 2.5 weird starting problem
just started having this issue with my van last few days,it was perfectly fine before.
starts first time in the morning and runs for about 10 seconds then cuts out, then turns over for ages before it fires back up, it will then start first time all day again until the next morning, cant see any air in the fuel lines and there are no fault codes present.
any ideas ?
