Hi guys, I'm in need of advise.
I have a 2004 Renault Trafic 2.5 dci (6 speed) with a fubar'd water pump ( internal bearing seal leaking through).
I've got the water pump unmounted from the block with the drive cog removed as per another thread on here yet I can't seam to squeeze the loose water pump out from the housing. It is fouling against the chassis member. I have slackened off the lower engine vibration mount and using a strop pulled the engine over which has given me about another...

vauxhall vivaro problem
Hi all
I'm new to the forum, looking for any advice I can get regarding my 2005 Vauxhall vivaro, the van is fine when driving along on the flat but as soon as it climbs a hill the van starts surging not a major ammount but it is noticeable, it feels as though there is a limiter kicking in but it's not speed related as it happens in every gear when the engine is working hard.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks Gavin

Vivaro clutch pedal
I have a strange problem with my Vivaro, its an 06 1.9. It is an intermittant problem where the clutch pedal can be going down ok and all of a sudden it becomes very hard to press, almost solid, but appears to disengage the clutch because the gears didnt grind. It started happening approx 9 months ago and then did not happen again until yesterday, but after leaving van for 3 hours it seems to have cleared itself and drives fine? When this happens i can sometimes hear a creaking noise coming...

Minibus Speakers
Hi all.
New to all this and don't want to purchase the wrong sizes and seriously doubt myself on the simple task of measuring.
Anyone know the right size speakers in the roof in the rear of a Vauxhall Vivaro Minibus and also the size of the speakers that is located in the dash.
I think I'm right in thinking that the door speakers are 17cm jobbies, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thank you.

Trafic (Vivaro) steeringbwheel swap?
Chaps, looking to try something that has never been done before.
I would like to swap over the standard trafic steering wheel with one off of a megane 2008>
The centre hole looks the same size but my concern would be trying to get the megane air bag to work with the existing trafic airbag wiring. Would this be too hard to do and does anyone know how they are wired?
Crazy idea I know
Cheers
Paul

Vivaro vibration/wobble
Hi all, I'm looking for some advice. I have a 2005 vivaro 2.5, with an annoying vibration which starts at about 1700 rpm till bout 2000, the more load the worse it gets. makes the van feel as if it is labouring. Lately it seems to have developed into a wobble, not sure if they are the same problem. I have checked all the usual stuff, wheel imbalance, suspension wear, and drive shafts, and found nothing obvious. I would appreciate a bit of advice from someone who has had similar problems,...

Diagnostic Tool ?
Hi Guys
I've got an oldie (2002 1.9 Primastar), with some of the usual issues, and the glowplug/elec issue warning light on at the moment.
I thought I could plug my OBD 2 in to get some fault readings, however seems not to be the case - nothing !
Can anyone help point me in the direction of a reasonably priced reader that's works with our system - which is what ?
Thanks guys

2006- boost fault.
My first call for help, and hopefully my last.
2006 1.9T can drive all day in town no issues, and on the motorways etc at 70 without an issue.
However, if i am cruising and put my foot down around 2750 the glowplug light comes on, when checked on a diagnostic tool it says boost solenoid issue, so i changed it, still happens, before i go mad and spend a fortune any ideas.
It will still cruise at 70 or even more but when we get to a hill just dies and i struggle to get more than 45/50 (its...

2006 1.9di vivaro engine fault codes
Hi,
More problems with my Vivaro.
Past few weeks the orange warning light on the dash has been on when I take my foot off the accelerator, when I accelerate the light goes off and sometimes when I change gear the engine revs shoot up until I'm in the next gear. Now the orange light is on and the engine seems to be running on 3 cylinders.
I connected my Ofcom and fault codes are:
P1122 Present
