2.5dti shuts down below 3k
Hi guys! I'm new here and believe or not all the way from Finland.
So I'm having trouble with my -04 2.5dti vivaro, van starts, revs to 3k then shuts down on its own. If you keep revs above 3k it runs fine and sounds normal with no smoking.
Many mechanics have tried to figure it out, but there's no fault codes or lights (except abs). I've already thrown bunch of parts at it with no effect (egr valve, fuel pressure sensor)
So any ideas what could be the problem? I'm a bit desperate so...

Vivaro 2.5 (2008) wont rev above 3000rpm

I have a 2008 2.5 litre Vivaro and it has recently developed a fault whereby it wont rev above 3000rpm. It pretty much stopped working over night.
My mechanic has a spent a couple our hours with a diagnostic tool but couldn't say for definite what the problem is. I don't want to just throw money at the problem replacing sensors etc without first having an idea what's really wrong with the engine.
When I plug it into OP-COMM I'm seeing a couple of fault codes:
P0380-0F
P2502-06

Hi im new to this forum but would like some help if possible
I'm having problem starting my vivaro sometimes but most of the time it fires right up. When its having the problem its cranking slowly first but starting to go faster until the starter gets it to around 500rpm and then the engine starts. It takes 5-15 seconds of cranking before it starts.
These are the codes i get in opcom:
p0400 - 0 - exhaust gas recirculation excessive flow
p1125 - 0 - boost pressure solenoid valve excessive...

Strange loud rattling noise at start and stop
Hello,
I've got a very strange loud rattling noise coming from somewhere when I turn on and off my Vivaro, then again when I switch the engine on and off. It goes off loudly for few seconds then it disappears. Apparently is not affecting my van performance, but it's very annoying.
I aksed few garages to check this, but they cannot be bothered.
Anyone knows what is it?

2014 vivaro minibus engine M9R692
I'm looking to buy a 2014 2.0 vivaro minibus which has an M9R 692 in it.
Do these engines suffer the same snapping timing chains and siezed injector issues as the earlier variants of the M9R engines?
It is a lower bhp than my 2008 van which has an M9R 782 in it and I believe the injectors are a different part number.

good afternoon boys and girls! im new to this site so please be gentle with me!
i have avivaro that will not even come close to starting, even when dragged. just dead!
'check injectors' flags up but no fault codes other than maf sensor which i understand the van will start if its unplugged anyway.
i do have a fair bit of leakback on two injectors which i will sort if the engines not pooped but the fuel rail sensor is up at 30-35mpa whilst cranking, about 2.5 v if i remember correctly.

Vivaro power windows(Driver window)
Hello everyone
I got a little problem with driver window on vivaro.
I bought both whole doors from vivaro 2013 and replaced them on friends older vivaro i dont know the year now but it had manual windows.
I had searched this forum and found out its quite the pickle....so my driver window doesnt work passenger is fine after adding a relay.
So after reading more here i found out u need to have the right BCM unit and the wiring.
This vivaro has old BCM unit and its missing the green and...

Vivaro / trafic reliability - looking at 2010 to 2015
We're looking at various vivaro and trafic vans from 2010 to 2015 in registration year. Prefer the 113 or 115bhp engines.
Did see a nice minibus 2013 but the 90bhp version. It drove nicely but no hills. We didn't realise it was 80bhp until the dealer told us.
Vans looked at are panel, minibus and wheelchair access. Basically they're all the same van but windows on two types.
So I'm basically asking what are the concerns with vivaro and trafic vans of this age range and the 115ish bhp? BTW...

Hello everyone!
I'm looking at getting a used van for converting into a day van / camper. Plans are very loose because only got a £15,000 budget and not doing the build myself. Will be using it for a long as we can keep it running so want a professional job instead of our incompetent attempts.
The idea is a 2013 ish 115bhp trafic or vivaro in L1H1 size. Load won't be an issue but the 27 to 29 or greater is OK. Want lower mileage. Hope for car levels of annual mileage = 10k per year....

PLEASE HELP !!!
hi I have a Vauxhall vivaro. I'm now pulling my hair out. I have a quick jumping sensation (as if the wheels are jumping) coming from the front of the van when driving over small or big grooves/pot holes in the road. I first thought it was top strut mounts (change them) then tried anti roll bar links and bushs (nope not them still the same) then tried wishbones (nope ain't them still same) then tried shock absorbers (nope not them still the same). I've tried rocking by hand the engine but...

New vivaro owner, lack of power,outside temp sensor?
Hi all, brought my first vivaro earlier this week. 55 plate 1.9di swb. I've a few niggles, one of which I thought I had sorted which was stereo code. I tracked it down and entered it but the outside temp reads nothing.where do I locate the other end...the actual sensor to check if it's plugged in firstly? I also have downsized from a 2.5td master to this and the lack of power is shocking. I assume mine is a non turbo version from lack of torque. I didn't ask as I didn't think too haha. It's...

How the feck do you do it? I can't seem to get it done properly resulting in no hot air and a load of hissing.
I fill the reservoir to the brim
Bleed the hose behind the fan until a good stream comes out
Do the same at the thermostat
Then the lower matrix
Then the upper matrix
With the upper however I can never get a good stream, it sort of just blows bubbles and I get a little trickle at best, I make sure it never runs low during this process
With the engine running, heater on and...

Vivaro injector fault
Hi not been on for a while as my 08 traffic was faultless. Friday I picked up from a private sale a nov 2012 62 plate Vauxhall Vivaro 2.0CDTi VAN 115ps. I thought I had a good deal as I got him down too £1800 from £3495. On my way home I get the stop light , eml and injection fault. got home and borrowed a code reader. got the codes po299 and p242f and p0299. have I bought myself a pup or is it a fairly straight forward fix. any advice would be Gratefully received.
