Replacement key fob recommendation
Hi,
My central locking key fob is worn away - does anyone have a recommendation as to a web site / place I could purchase a new one?
The internal workings seem fine its just the external housing that needs replacing.

Vivaro rear bumper protector in stainless steel
Hi. I have a 2008 sportive 2 ltr van with colour coded rear bumper. I am looking for a polished stainless steel or metal protector for rear bumper but need it to be profiled . . ie lap over the rear edge aswell as covering the top. Can anyone point me to a supplier as struggling to find a profiled one. Can only find lay on flat type. Thanks.

Range Rover 19" wheels
Hi all, I was after some advice/help if poss. I picked up a set of range rover sport alloys 5x120 pcd that were on a vw t5. They come with the vw fitting kit lockers and bolts. My question is do I just need the wobble bolts and the spigot rings to make these fit. Tried searching but cant seem to find the answer. Has anyone else fitted these?

Engine knocking
Hi guys I'm back unfortunately lol, I've had a little oil leak coming from some where garage couldn't find it anywhere. I topped up yesterday morning never used all day went out in the evening and on the way back I heard a banging noise then warning lights came on!!! So I pulled over turned off, thought oil maybe low so topped back up as it was went to start flat battery ? So I got towed back any thoughts thanks

Bluetooth issues with 2015 Vivaro Sportive
Hi,
Just bought a new 2015 vivaro sportive bi-turbo 2700 120ps.
Having a few issues with the bluetooth telephone on the cd/dab/fm/mw radio media unit,
Didn't go for the sat nav version.
Just wondered if anyone else had the same problem?
My bluetooth connection to my iphone6 intermittently keeps failing,
then i can't reconnect unless i forget this device "MY CAR" on my phone and then repair.
It happens nearly every day, but it can be fine for long periods of time,
not sure whats going on? or...

New Shape Vivaro Fusebox Location
Morning all , i've just picked a new shape Vivaro with 5k on the clock , ( pics and build thread to follow )and like a biff i think i've blown the cigarette lighter fuse with a multimeter . The manual says fusebox is located left side of instrument panel but i've taken all the trim off around the steering wheel and no sign of it . There is a small illustration on the manual which shows it as being just under and to the left of the steerinng wheel but ill be buggered if i can find it ....

Underseat storage
hi i have recently bought a 2008 vivaro.
Has anybody utilised the wasted space under the double passenger seat for storage if so how have you done it.
On the new shape van ino you can get underseat storage from vauxhall as a aftermarket accesorie kit but no sign of them doing a kit for the older vans. Also unable to find anything when searching on the internet

excessive wind noise
Anyone having any problems with excessive noise coming from the top of the drivers or passengers door
Only noticeable when doing 50mph +
Stops if I pull the top of the door in
Seals all look fine dealers have said about adjusting the door itself but I've noticed the door and wing don't line up that we'll as it is (wing sits further out) so would look even worse if they push the door in more

Just stripped down the engine to find the oil pump chain spins on the crank??? Is it meant to do that??

Hi hoping someone can give me some advise.

Turnes off van left it over night went back in the morning this happens:
Turn the key {No fuel prime, no glow plug illumination and the immobiliser light stays on constant}
Auto electrician says the bcm is ok he the key is ok and there's power going to the ecu but it's not leaving the ecu.
The told me it's £300 to send off ecu to get checked if it's not that then check wiring loom. Is any tests I can do to check power is...

2015 Vivaro double cab doors won't open
Hi
I have a 2015 Vivaro Sportive double cab & everything was fine yesterday.
Went to get my tools out of the back when I got to site this morning & the door won't open. It's locking & unlocking but I can't physically open the door, as it's a double cab there's no way I can get to the inside of the rear doors.
Has anyone got any suggestions or has this happened to anyone else? My local dealer can't look at it until next week & as I can't get to my tools I can't work, fantastic!!!

Vivaro engine vibration at around 1800rpm
My 2005 1.9CDTi has a really bad resonance vibration around 1800rpm. Anyone have any ideas on how to cure it? My first thought would be new engine mounts....?

oil on start up ?
Hi there i have also noticed another problem on the speedo is when i put the key in and start her up the oil isn't saying it's ok ? it has alot of ----- like that above where it is just saying oil ? what could be causing this ?

Cold start sequence
Hello everybody!
I thought it might be nice if between us all we could nail down the cold starting sequence, troubleshooting the lot. Seams pretty seasonal and my van is also struggling with the colder weather.
My understanding of this sequence is;
An air temperature sensor (I dont know where it is) registeres that temperature is below a certain value (3degrees or so)
This tells a realy to make the heater plugs heat up.
The heater plugs heat up for a bit (no odea how long)
You turn the key...

wastegate to vnt
A friend has put a complete engine from a laguna dci150 with injectors and turbo into his dead dci115 trafic, and is now getting p0235 codes but itis driving well.
I had a quick look and the 150 turbo is vnt where the 115 is wastegate. At a gues i'd say i have to change the boost solenid pipes to give a vacuum instead of positive pressure, then get a custom map made up. Does that sound about right?
Anyone know a mapper who would do this? My usual guy won't touch it.

Trafic non start, immobiliser issue
Need some help here as I'm getting to the end of my tether. Next doors Trafic won't start and I agreed to have a look. Immobiliser light stays lit constantly, STOP light stays on, and no glow plug light. I've scanned it with Delphi, and it says 040 CAN-No comms with ECM. Imobiliser recognises the key. It spins over on the starter perfectly, but no fire. I've read and seen many faults with the fusebox- have stripped the loom back and checked in there for broken wires, checked the blue plug-...

I parked my 63 vivaro round the corner last week some as i havent got a parking clock yet and when i came back monday morning the stereo wont turn on.
The display lights up and down when you take your key in and out and isnt stuck on like ive been reading elsewhere, ive checked fuses etc and all seem fine. Ironically the passenger side headlight stopped working when i arrived to the van last week.
moral of the story is dont park on public roads. Can anyone supply any advice? Not too...

Speedo doesn't work ? and can't set the time on the speedo
Hi everyone hopefully someone can help ![:)]( "Smile :)")
i have searched google and read alot of posts saying that the speed sensor on the gearbox is at fault, now i have had a good look around the the drive shafts but i can't seem to find it ![:(]( "Frown :(")
does anyone have a pic of where it is located ?
i have also got a problem with the time clock on the speedo i can't set it and the trip but wont work either when i press it in ? i did think that the speedo clocks may be at fault so i bought another one which did...
