56 plate Master Slave Cylinder replacement

Hi

Wondering if anyone can help, am trying to replace the clutch master cylinder in my 56 plate Vivaro Van. Can anyone help with the location and how to access etc....my father is a mechanic so has all equipment and bought
the part but am now stumped as to how to get to it? Really hope someone can help! As need my van for work on Monday!

Vivaro limp mode/fuel issues

I have an 03 1.9 vivaro sportive. When the fuel tank reaches only a quarter full the van will go in to limp mode when ever I go up an incline or accelerate hard. The STOP light comes on and the EML starts flashing. It then slowly drops the revs until the battery then cuts out.

If i then turn the key it starts up again as if nothings wrong. However, the minute there's another hill or a sharp corner it does it all over again.

If I keep the tank filled up and don't let it drop below...

Good evening everyone i have recently service my Renault trafic and she passed her mot yesterday how ever she didn't fail on emissions but the mot tester did put an advisory on white smoke emitted during the test and any way my dad drove her home and i was behind and there was some what a cloud of white smoke at times so i went to investigate and check the egr valve which i will be taking out tomorrow to give a good clean but there seems to be alot of black sludge/oil round this area and...

Black sludge/oil in inter cooler pipes etc ??

Hi fellow members , i have just spotted on the tv listings that the BBC Watchdog consumer programme is doing a big number on the problems with injector ceasing and bad wiring in the Vivaro / traffic / primastar vans next week . This is a must watch programme for all owners of these vans .
The programme is on next Thursday 13th November on BBC 1 at 8.00 pm......Enjoy

hi all I have just brought a vivaro 2.0 -2010 and I need to buy a scanner to read its brain I have been looking around and as the van is linked to Renault I do not no what to buy
So I would like some help pretty please
Looking on eBay a few of them say only works up to 2009 and some say won't work with vivaro at all

Can clip ? Or Vaux com ?

Hi guys,
I want to fit a cruise control system to my 2012 2.0 tdci vivaro. Is this something I can do myself or do I need to go to a auto electrican.? If I can fit myself where is the best place to buy the control stick, clutch switch and software to activate on ecu etc...If someone has done this before can let me know if it was a success or not...any information would be much appreciated...thanks guys.

Hi guys ,
Have been loving this forum since having my van and it has helped me no end ,
I recently have had what seems to be a very common fault with these vans but with slightly different outcomes after checking certain parts.
I broke down last week on the motorway. Van just died , got towed home and van refuses to start at all. I have changed crank shaft sensor as that was one of the faults on op-com but that hasn't worked at all.
Op-com also shows several other codes all relating to...

2007 vivaro wiper problem not working

Hi all. I've got a vivaro 2007 . I've got an annoying wiper problem.
When I put wipers on, in any positions they don't work straight away. If I drive down the road after about 2 3 mins they start working. I've tried wiggling the stalk this doesn't appear to make any difference Help help

Hi all, im new here And after reading all the posts you seem like a helpful bunch so i thought you may be able to offer some advice.

I have a 53 plate 1.9tdi which i got stung with!
It will start first time regardless of temperatures and ticks over fine BUT after 20 seconds it starts to judder with extremely delayed throttle response, you can get your foot flat to the floor before it finally starts to increase the revs. After 5 minutes ticking over it runs fine and you can set off, before...

63 Plate Vivaro Sliding Door Lock

I have a 63 Plate Vivaro where the side door only locks when you deadlock the van by pressing lock on the key twice, otherwise the other doors will lock but the side door will stay unlocked.

Is this a problem anyone else has had before?
If yes what have you done to fix or diagnose the cause

Any help would be appreciated

My 2005 1.9CDTi has a really bad resonance vibration around 1800rpm. Anyone have any ideas on how to cure it? My first thought would be new engine mounts....?

ABS/esp fault

hello,

I have a 2006 vivaro 2,5. Some weeks ago the abs/esp and spanner light started to go on. sometimes it went away by just turning ignition off/on while driving. Now it lights always. I checked the fault codes, and this was what I got.. C102F . Here is the other info. Any suggestion?

Vivaro rear bumper protector in stainless steel

Hi. I have a 2008 sportive 2 ltr van with colour coded rear bumper. I am looking for a polished stainless steel or metal protector for rear bumper but need it to be profiled . . ie lap over the rear edge aswell as covering the top. Can anyone point me to a supplier as struggling to find a profiled one. Can only find lay on flat type. Thanks.

Replacing Aerial?

Hi guys

I lost a battle with a height restrictor yesterday, and have ripped my aerial from the base unit.

after looking last night, its not just a case of screwing a new shaft in, I need to replace the whole base as well.

how do I get to unscrew the base unit?

obviously the head lining will have to come down a bit, but in what order do I need to tackle it? do the side pillars come off? bulkhead top screws?

Facelift Conversion - Headlight Wiring

Hi Guys,

Planning a facelift conversion this weekend and i know i have to change the plugs on the headlight adjusters...
I was just wondering is someone who has has already done it please let me know what colours go to what from the old wiring to the new plugs?

Or even a picture if possible.

Any help would be appreciated :)
