Bought a Movano 2.5 2007 model and the cabin fan did not work. change the resistor and still it did not work. ended up replacing the fan and now it only works on max speed. Any ideas?

Hi All,
am new here. glad I located this forum through. I am from South Africa. Recently got hold of a 2006 movano that was a non runner. The dealers this side does not even want to look at it as they only sold 50'odd of them in south africa and as a result no one knows how to work on them. She turns over but does not fire. If we give her quickstart then she runs whiles you have quickstart in the airbox. Thus she does not get diesel. But the engine runs at least. As in the injectors does...

Vivaro ABS LIght
Hi All
need a little help. I've just replaced my front two lower control arms, in order to do this you have to remove the abs sensor and wire as it is clipped to the arm, after putting all back together my ABS and spanner light is light and will not go out, any ideas as it is doin my head in.

MOT & Service in North Leeds?
The vivaro is due a service and mot at the end of the month. We've moved to North Leeds and this was one of the bits I wasn't looking forward to. I've used the same garage in Newcastle (Bonellos in Byker) for over 16yrs! Any recommendations? Living in Horsforth at the moment, but moving to Guiseley in coming months, so in that area if possible so I can keep using them

Vivaro/Trafic Starter problems
Hi hoping one of you guys could steer me in the right direction before I remove the front.
I have a 2.0 DCI on a 57 plate.
Couple of weeks back I would get the odd click when trying to start it as if the starter was stuck.
Now the starter motor will only turn over when the van is cold, after 10 miles it will just click (40 odd times) needing a push start, but if left for a good few hours it will turn over great, and I can not get it to just click even trying 10 plus times it starts on the...

Oh dear...I need help, vivaro just won't start...
hi guys and gals, I'm just about at the end of my rope, flat battery on my 10 reg sportive so I jump started it.... now.. the shortest route between the van and the starter car was through the passenger window so once all connected the van fires into life, all good so far... and in my excitement I whip the negative lead off the donor and toss it back through the open window where it bounces on the seat and drops down across the +VW plate on the battery... renault trafic radio upgrade connectivity advice
after some advice. I am fitting a Kenwood DAB to the Van and want to connect it with the use of the stalk remote control on the steering column.
The new head unit has the single wire remote input. when trying to look how the remote patch leads plug in they mention removing the standard information display but my van has the built in satnav. is this one and the same?
any further advice would be gratefully received.

Help! Trouble after fuel pump fitted
Hi guys,
I'm a newbie here so just want to start by saying hi!!!!!
I'm also looking for help help and advice.
Basically my 2007 vivaro stopping running. It was 100% perfect before hand. Anyway after several people looking at it I was told it was the fuel pump. So got it changed and it all driving perfect again but now we have 3 lights on dash. The glow plug light, the engine management and also the service light.
The mechanic is saying this is nothing to do with him and needs diagnosing....

Intercooler hose repair kit? Does it exist?
The upper intercooler hose is cracked at the intercooler, AND a new hose costs a fortune. I was wondering if some kind of repair kits available for this hose?
What I'm thinking of is just a few inch long rubber hose that goes on the intercooler and a few inch long plastic or some metal tube, and this way you would just have to cut off the damaged part of the intercooler hose and install the short hose with the tube between the original hose and the intercooler with couple of clamps.
Or if...

Rear brake caliper
HI All
Did a really daft thing l had a rear caliper dragging so stripped it down cleaned it came to rebuild it with a new seal kit and can't remember where the seals go seem to have two spare lol
Has any one got a exploded view of the rear caliper so l can see where all the seals go.

Erratic Steering on Vivaro
I have a 2004 Vivaro with steering that seems to have a mind of its own. When driving it will seem ok then will lurch left or right depending on the road / corner.
The van was lowered by the previous owner.
I have checked the wishbones and other suspension components and they all seem tight with no play.
I had the tracking done and this didn't improve it.
Would be grateful if anyone had any ideas of what I could check next or if anyone has had similar problems

Storage Solutions
Hi People, I pick up my new van soon (well a 60 plate, new to me!) It has the 2 captains seats so has a huge gap between the seats. I would like some sort of storage to go in that space. Does anybody know of any. Thanks in advance. Steve

euro car parts maf sensor
i ordered a new siemens maf sensor for 2009 2.0 vivaro, picked it up today and it says continental on it, no mention of siemens anywhere, always read on here siemens are the best ones to get, just wondering if this is right with it saying continental on it, i paid the dearer price for a siemens cheers

Im a newbie here to this great forum !!
Got an issue with the fuel gauge as in approximate miles left, mine went off showing 60 miles left and the fuel light has come and now the display on the dash is showing a series of lines.
Could somebody please confirm is this is correct or is something a drift ?

Where can i get these alloys from
Seen these alloys on a van at Harpenden Vans ive emailed them for a tyre and wheel package cost but they dont seem interested unless they sell me a 20 grand van.
I presume they are buying them in the uk does anyone know or recognise them, ive looked on a few sites but no luck
