Vivaro Front Wheel Bearing

Hi All,

I am getting some noise coming from the front of my vivaro 03 plate. When driving straight and turning right the humming noise is constant. When turning left at speed the noise goes, also the wheel has developed a squeek. My initial thoughts are wheel bearings, how difficult are they to replace and what would be the procedure for removal and refitting?

2012 Movano Engine warning light "injection fault"

We bought a 2012 R4500 Movano brand new in August 2012, yesterday as the driver was pulling into some services to have his break he pulled off from a roundabout in second. The van had a quick jolt, then the engine warning light came on with an "injection issue". The jolt apart, the van didn't suffer any performance issues. When the driver re-started the van following his break roughly 45 minutes later the fault had gone and never came back.

Any advice would be appreciated.

My side door is locked and can't open it I think it's the little black box inside of it! Does anyone know if I can get this black box out from inside the door with out smashing it to pieces???

fuel light

hi guys, im after a bit of help regarding my fuel warning light, when i first turn the key it comes on as it should with all the other lights then goes out as normal but it never comes on when im low on fuel, can anyone tell me how far into the red the needle as to be before it will come on, i can get half way doen the red and still no light, i have thought about carrying a can of diesel and running out but i dont want to suck a load of shite out of the bottom of the fuel tank, and also mine...

I have managed to get my old gearbox out of the van, and tomorrow will attempt to refit the recon box how do I bleed the clutch system after this? Its a 2004 1.9 6speed

Hi all, thought i'd post up some pic's of the location of this pain the butt problem and how I solved it on mine.

Its very easy and will cost about £6

the pic's will show but just to quickly explain, you will need a length of "Stormguard E profile for 1.5-3mm gaps in brown,2x strips of plastic milk carton 1@ "20x50mm" & 1@ 20x75mm",utility knife.

the problem is caused by the the rubber scuttle seal at bottom of window that seals the bonnet when closed at it is only in the very centre that...

My injector is gone due to water leak on engine and in injectors.Is there any way to stop that leak or i just must accept that it would be problem all the times.

As of the weekend I'm now the proud owner of a 55 plate Hi-Roof that I'm going to gradually camperise. One of the first jobs will be to swap the original seats for the ones from my old Saab (She Who Must Be Obeyed is pretty firm on that point ;)).

In order to swap out the original seats, it looks like I'm going to have to move the seatbelt mountsmounts, particularly for the passenger seat which will be mounted on a swivel. The obvious alternative mounting would be to get a right-angle bracket...

HI HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY 2010 2.0 CDI AT THE MOMENT ,FIRST OF ALL THE VAN RUNS FINE BUT I HAVE AN OIL PRESSURE FAULT MESSAGE ON DASH ALSO THESE LIGHTS ON SERVICE LIGHT,STOP LIGHT,OIL LIGHT , BRAKE LIGHT AND AIR BAG LIGHT, OIL LEVEL IS OK.
HAD A DIAGNOSTICS TEST ON IT WHICH READ
CAN BUS NO COMMUNICATION WITH BODY CONTROL MODULE AND
CAN BUS NO COMMUNICATION WITH INSTRUMENT CONTROL MODULE. ANY IDEAS AS TO WHY OR WHAT THIS COULD BE CHEERS MICK

Evening guys,
I've seen a few astra sport vans recently that have been modified, ie: lowered, alloys, new grilles etc. And they look proper tasty.

Is there anything available for the vivaro along these lines?
Grilles?
Headlight upgrades? Hids? Or black surrounds?
Brakes? They have discs all round, can you get bigger or better pads etc?

I just want it to stand out a bit from the growing masses that seem to be on the road.

Anyone have pics of their vivaros with a few mods?

hello people i would appeiciate any tech info if anyone knows had all my tools pinched from my van this fri in a carpark in bradford they was in and out within 5mins and took over 2500 of gear my machanic said i must not of push the button twice for the deadlocks to be on....iam 99% can the doors be opened when deadlocks on....they completely removed the back door handle....no damage to the van at all??????? dont want to replace the gear and get done again...thanks

Driving to the ferry for 1130 and this fkn heap of shite dropped dead in the fast lane of the motorway!! I mean dead like I switched the engine off. No lights no steering nothing. To say my piss is boiling would be an understatement

going to replace the rear discs on my van this weekend has anyone any advice and do i need a hub puller and if so is their anyone local who would lend it me to do the job on sunday
