Which manual
Hi ive got a late 2011 vivaro sportive. I got a brand new engine 6 months ago due to the cam chain snapping. The new engine is m9r786. I want to start doing servicing and brakes etc myself . Ive looked at different workshop manuals and im not sure which covers this engine. The haynes sais up to 2011 but doesnt note on the cover the engines as there seems to be a few types. Im not sure if the m9r786 is renault or nissan.
Anyone know which manual to buy plz?

movano with starting issues
Hi all, I have a 03 2.2dti movano, 140 thou miles, with starting issues, she will only start with easy start.
had new glow plugs, starter motor, alternator with a full service and 12mnth mot.
when it does start it only drives for 10min or so and cuts out, sometimes can be bump started when rolling!
I have no immobiliser problems.
The garages around me are reluctant to take it in as they dont usually work on vans ( cornwall ) and the nearest diesel testing is miles away.
Any one with similar...

vivaro cdti engine judders in 6th gear
hi all my vivaro cdti has recently started to judder when in 6th gear. in all other gears it seams to be fine, as soon as you open up the trottle in 6th it judders as if there is a miss fire or timing problems it struggles to get above 80mph and thats with nothing in the van, has any one got any suggestons.![:cry:]( "Crying :cry:")

I'm new to this site but have already found some really useful information. I'm afraid I have the dreaded no power at low revs on my Vivaro and a leaking scuttle panel. I've had the van from new, now six years old, and have had no problems up until now. It's got a full service history, 75K on the clock, just recently had a service and MOT, which it passed no problem. Before I order a diagnostic tool I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of the connection...

Vivaro 1.9 cutting out then engine management light starts flashing
Hi all, I am hoping someone may have some advice to share. I went to go to work today as usuall and the van started and drove fine no loss of power or anything unusual, then out of the blue it cut out and the red stop light came on and the red engine management light started flashing. Locked SIde door problem
Hi Peeps
OK I have a problem on the Mrs Vivaro passenger side door, Its closed shut and will not open, I cant here the central locking working on that side, Ive stripped the inside panel off the door itself and checked all the cabled from the outside handle and inside handle and lock/open toggle on inside, Tried the dash button, that works on all other doors fine. This is driving me up the wall at the moment, I thought at least I would be able to get it open from the Mek inside then strip down...

oil sump plug tool
Can anyone tell what size tool I need for a 56 plate 1.9 vivaro oil sump plug. I have tried T50 (too small) and T55 (too big) torx keys. I have called my local Vauxhall dealer who told me that they do not sell tools, so I am stuck with having to pay a mechanic every time.

Slide door not opening
Hi everyone
I've got a 03 plate vivaro drove it to work this morning fine opened my sliding door was fine then went to open after work and nothing have always had to put my arm in around the back of the passenger seat to be able to lock the door manually and unlock manually aswell since I brought it 3 months ago!!! But it's locked at the moment and basically can't unlock it at all have had the panel off to see the mechanism and all the wires and handle pulleys the lot are all fine!!
Any helps...

Injector issues
I have an 08 swab 113k on clock, broke down on weekend got towed and put on diagnostics saying injector 3&4 issues on codes. Having searched forums I have noticed this is a common fault and there is a malfunction with the design of the run off trays at bottom of windscreen. Also looking around i seen that this is a very costly practice have been advised to get all 4 done and that's nearly 1000 just for parts plus labour could be god knows whatever. Vivaro 2007 Problem
Ive got a 2007 Vauxhall Vivaro done about 150k miles ,no problems, full good service history, Started cutting out on me, couple of red Stop lights would come on plus engine management light,would turn ignition off,and then would re-start no problems..
now it wont start at all.

Vivaro stalls and hazards flash???
Hi everyone,
My 2005 1.9 vivaro has developed a fault over the last few weeks.
Sometimes on start up it won't rev for 5 - 10 seconds (it's done this since I bought it but never really bothered me). Then when it does rev it struggles to get to 2000rpm and won't go past 2000rpm for a while. Once it revs up, it struggles pull away unless I give it loads of revs it will stall. When I'm finally driving, it is slow to get to 2000rpm then goes like it should after 2000 - 2500rpm all the way up...

Help on fault codes for my vivaro 08 :)
Fault codes po203, p110, p0204, df025, df056, df165, df228, df891.
From what I have looked up I need new injectors which I hope now got the van booked in at vauxhall next week so want to make sure it's nothing simple. If anyone can help be great

gearbox help needed please
Hi all this is my first thread hope its ok
I have just got a vivaro 1.9 diesel 2900 on a 53 plate lovely van but to cut a long story short the gearbox has gone , its a 5 speed and I can't get hold of one easily near me , is it possible to put a 6 speed box into a 5 speed van
What else would I need to change apart from the gear knob

Gearbox swap information required please
Hi new to the forum but in no way new to the trafic/vivaro van, i know this question has been asked befor but as of yet havnt come up with any straight answers, my question is, has anyone swapped there 5 speed box to 6 speed, and if so what was involved? I have a 2001 1.9 di swb with a shot 1st gear and want the 6 speed box as i prefer it, the van wont be doing any hard as im converting it to a day van and maybe in time may tow a caravan but thats way off in the distance for now, if anyone...

wouldnt start (fixed !! ) a tip for you
hi my trusty van (not) wouldnt start, then once going (easy start) would only rev when idling, once you engage a gear and floor the throttle nothing, once the revs eventually got up to 2000 the turbo comes on full and away you go, but change gear below 3000 revs and back to no power again. So after a bit of thought i decided it was the common rail relief valve, removed the leak back and tried to start it, sure enough fuel pissing out!! e bay and a new rail, working again till the next problem...

Wouldn't start
Was using my 03 vivaro other day as usual got out and did a bit of this and that when I got back in I turned it over and it wouldn't start, turned it over and over no joy then all of a sudden it sparked back in to life. Weird. Has run perfick for years. Any thoughts? Scrap'm?

van alarm
Hi all new to the forum but have hovered on here to sort a few problems with my old vivaro. Just brought a new shape 2007 and I've pulled the cobra 3868 alarm out of my old vivaro to install in my new van but the wirings different and wondered if someone can help I with the wiring I know the colours on the alarm and where they go but not on the van I have 2 wire for cl unlock\ lock 2 for indicators could anyone tell me the colours on the vans wiring in the harness on passenger side loom tia
