Warning lights renault trafic 2.0dci

Hi everyone. New here. Just purchased a renault trafic ready for a day van conversion. Van was spot on for first few weeks but has suffered with the intermittent glow plug and electrical fault warning lights coming on which resulted in loss of power. This would certainly on quite regularly and stay on for a matter of seconds or for a few minutes before resetting it's self and full power was regained. However the lights have now come on pretty much permanently and the engine light has also...

Fault Code - P1530

Primastar 1.9 dci 100 (2002)

Hi Chaps

Wonder if I can get some help on a fault code.

Using Op-com, comes up as : P1530 - A/C Relay Voltage Low.

Faults I have at the moment - Flashers continiously flashing (Hazards)
(new switch fitted - still same)
Electrical fault/Glow plug warning light on.

Does the above fault code relate, i.e a multi function relay, and if so, which one ?

There is no Aircon in the vehicle, if that's what the A'C means.

Any help much appreciated guys.

Hi i have a 2003 vivaro and ive just pulled up at home and there was a loud popping sound and then it started to bellowing steam out of the engine and the droped all of the water out of the side of the engine,it looks like its coming from the drivers side of the engine im not sure what bit its callec but looks like it has it has a belt attached or close to it,sorry if thats vague but i know nothing about engines

hi lads, new to this forum hoping someone may be able to help rectify a steering problem I have, I have a 2004 1.9 vivaro , drives really well apart from the steering!!! Round town etc it's great no problem, but when upto speed and on back roads if I give it a hint of power round a corner it suddenly dives the way I'm cornering if I roll round no power it's fine, but even in a straight light If I go to overtake and give it throttle it pulls that way very sharp, if I give it power with my...

Gearbox Question

Sorry if this has been asked 3 million times... have searched but cannot find the answer... Looking to get my first Vivaro (or triplet) very shortly. I know of the injector seizing issue and the gearbox bearing endfloat problems.

My question is: Was this bearing problem sorted in later production years? In other words what year onwards should I be looking at buying?

Is there a "best engine" to look out for? Hoping to pick up a ex BT Vivaro at BCA auction.

Vivaro engine vibration at around 1800rpm

My 2005 1.9CDTi has a really bad resonance vibration around 1800rpm. Anyone have any ideas on how to cure it? My first thought would be new engine mounts....?

Alright guys. I'm in the market for a vivaro sportive to convert into a campervan. I know there's 2 options, swb and lwb. Can any of you tell me the pros and cons with both vans as I can't decide on which to buy. Thanks.

Low power

Hi all,
New to this so bear with me.
Got a 2008 vivaro 2.0 diesel.
Lately I've noticed that the power low down is quite poor. It revs fine, but the revs dont seem to match the power, i.e., it gets up to 3000rpm no probs, but doesnt pull well at all...
Once up to 50/60mph, drives as normal but its a long haul to get up to that...
Clutch and gearbox are fine so no issues there....
All pipework to turbo and ancillaries are fine so no loss of boost via any splits in the pipes....
Any ideas...

Hi. Need to change the top mounts on my Vivaro. Think I'm happy with changing them just after people's opinions on what replacements to use. Was going to get a pair from euro car parts for £80.

Hey,

Removed a faulty injector out of my Vivaro, Bosch part number is 0445115084. called Vauxhall and Renault, they both say it should end in 007 and it's not the correct injector for the van.. theres a longer part number on the injector: H82828929. gave this a little google search and it comes up as a injector for a M9R610 engine.

Well i believe mine is a m9r782.

I can get a new OEM 0445115007 for £130 Inc Vat.

I can get a new OEM 0445115084 for £220+Vat

Can i use the 007...

How to clean non removable rubber flooring?

Hello guys,
I have a Vivaro with really dirty rubber flooring.
Since most of the floor is non removable, I can't get it properly clean.
The only removable mat is under the driver seat, and this I can pressure wash, but what about the rest?

Tapping/knocking noise

Hi all.

I've recently bought my Vivaro and hoping some of you more knowledgeable people could please point me in the right direction regarding a couple of issues that may or may not be related.

First issue is that it struggles to start fairly frequently, as if the battery is a little flat. It seems to mostly happen from a cold start.

Second issue is that today it has developed a tapping/knocking sound. It does this at idle and gets quicker with the engine revs both in neutral and when...

Movano wheel hub assembly 2002

Hello,

I have a Vauxhall Movano 2002 2.5 with a 15inch wheel with wheel nuts. This needs a new wheel hub assembly on the passenger side. I have tried to purchase directly from Vauxhall but it is now longer produced. The part number is/was 9160396. Renault master has the same hub assembly but they are all for a 16-inch wheel.
The Renault code is 7700302125. Someone also said that Renault part code 8200642122 might be right.
Can anyone tell which part would fit my van?

Primastar 2007 115 advice please

Hi all, I have a primastar and the box has packed up due to local garage messing a drive shaft seal..ran dry of oil.
They admitted liability and are going to fit a new box , I want to supply a new clutch and they will fit whilst vans stripped. What I need help on is whether or not there is a dual mass flywheel on these vehicles ?
And best supplier for the clutch and flywheel.

Van having random starting problems , had 4 new injectors 4 months ago been on the button since , now it randomly will not start sometime 1st thing in morning , othertimes will be fine all day , park it up for 5 mins won't start , be fine for 2 days then won't start [​IMG] easy stRt always gets it fired up

Central Locking Not Working...

Hi guys,

Looking for some advice/help again...

The central locking on my 2010 Vivaro stopped working today, there isn't a problem with the key fob, as the indicators flash when the buttons are pressed. I checked the fuse, and it had blown, replaced it, and it blew again.

When pressing the dashboard lock button I can hear the clicking, however, no locking...problem is I cant lock my van properly now, passenger door and side door are both open, obviously I can lock the drivers door with the...

1.9 Vivaro 2003 Disconnected plug next to MAP/boost sensor

Was cleaning MAP and Boost sensor tubes this morning to try to sort no power at low revs issue and found this plug not connected to anything. It comes from the same tube as the plugs for MAP and boost sensor and I can't see where it should plug in so a little confused.

Any ideas??

Morning again forum.

Another Sunday another crack at the van...

Just took delivery of a wiper motor/linkage assembly from an ebayer.

Old motor...
Intermittent setting - one single wipe only, parks correctly.
Speed one or two - wipes fine but doesn't park when you switch off, the motor stops dead wherever the blades are. To park them you have to on/off until they're in the right place.

New motor....
Intermittent setting - keeps wiping at speed 1 with no delays.. Stops when you turn off...
