Hi Guys,

I am new here and the typical reason is because there's a problem so I am hoping someone else has had this problem with their van at some stage?

I bought a Movano 2.5 CDTI 2006, I have owned a Renault Master 2.5CDTI (Same vehicle ... in essence!) before and it didn't do anything like this one does, I start the van and it gives a slight rev to around 1100rpm, then revving seems slow and as if in limp"-ish" mode, on top of this, as I drive along and change gear I have to wait at...

good morning,
just bought a 2012 vivaro.

it has the infotainment cd30 bt with aux port as for pics





would like to add the usb port,as it was also optional for the same radio.

can i just buy the oem usb connecting port or what is the easiest way to listen to music via a usb pen ?

Hi folks,
bought a Vivaro 1.9 dti not long ago, it has many issues but it was cheap and its engine seems to be solid so I thought I can patch it up myself. most issues are solved but now that the hot weather came its overheating on idle. Not at any other times so im hoping that its not the water pump and noticed that my electric fan isnt switching on at all, no matter how hot the engine is. the plug on the bottom seems to be ok but now noticed there is a slot for a ??sensor?? and a nearby...

I have a 2005 trafic. Central works on all doors except rear Barn doors will not lock. Does anyone have any suggestions or photos of what to try.

Hi just been wiring a dash cam in and ran a wire behind the headlight adjuster, i noticed there are 2 modular plugs which are not used, does anyone know what these are for cheeers

Hi all.

I'm hoping someone can give me some info on why my vivaro is pulling off so slow with the revs leading up to 2.5k.

I haven't long purchased a 2003 1.9dti 100bhp model running pretty well apart from pulling off from junctions and almost causing an accident due to the revs climbing really slow up to 2.k but after this it goes really well. It was previously throwing out a lot of smoke on load so I changed the fuel temp sensor and egr valve for original parts and that cured the smoke...

Afternoon, the side door on my Vivaro is playing up. When I use the remote to unlock sometimes the side door stays
locked and sometimes it unlocks, all other doors work as should.
When it opens or I open it from inside I am always able to lock it via the remote!

Any pointer to the solution most welcome.

Hi all. A bit of history 1st.... Up until the last couple of months the van has been fine, it then developed hesitation below 2300rpm. Something I have been starting to look into. I checked vac pipes and turned the egr and found a good improvement top end...but still laggy low down.

Today.... Driving along it dropped in power and the glow plug light with the little box above came on. Turned the engine off and tried again and stayed off for a few mins.

AA came out and found the following...

Hi everyone I'm a newbie here

I have a 2007 Renault trafic 2.0dci m9r

When starting the van it starts runs for 5 seconds and cuts it if you wait a moment it will do the same again but if you try and start straight away it doesn't go.
I have fitted 4 new genuine injectors 800 miles ago I have also had ecu out and tested all is fine. Previous to this problem the van would occasionally cut all power with stop light flashing but would start up again straight away and be fine. I have tested all...

I've just got the van however it's being a bit of a tart at the moment...

Yesterday - slow to start, crank speed seemed fine, took maybe 3-4 seconds to 'catch' then drove fine. No smoke, pulls through the gears fine - although I did just move the van around the corner (I know, not good for diesels)

This morning - Took three attempts to start, again 3-4 and some seconds per crank to finally 'catch' then it ran fine, no smoke, not hesitant, idle is absolutely fine, then...

Just want to ask if the Haynes method is right.

It says put it in 3rd and check the gap between gear lever and reverse gear blocker (3.3 - 4.3mm)

Then it says adjust by removing the cable with the yellow clip from the side gear selector and put a 4mm spacer between the gear lever and reverse gear blocker and then goes on to make sure the gear lever and selector linkage are STILL in neutral before refitting the cable end to the linkage selector

However it never said to move the gearstick...

Hi. Just been reading about clutch pedals not returning. Mine works ok but once every ten times or so it won't return and occasional when it's fully depressed the clutch is dragging so you have to turn the engine off to get it out of gear it's looking like shave cylinder. All I need at the minute. Is there a recommended sequence to confirm this before I take the gear box off. How long does a clutch change take?

Hello, I'm having a major problem with the side loading door middle rail it seems to have worn excessively to the point if I'm not careful the side door comes off, I've ordered a new rail, and got new rollers, just wondering though if anyone can advise how I remove the rail and how they are fixed ?

hello, my rear door handle seemed to snap internally last week, I bought a new handle and fitted it, however it does not open from outside, it does have a spring as if it will open but nothing ! I can open it from inside and took a closer look as to what moves etc, when I pull from inside a certain bar / wire moves, from outside that bar doesn't hence not opening, but I cannot seem to find a peace or location to connect the two bars ( the handle is connected as per the new handle to a bar,...

Primastar 1.9 dci 100 (2002)

Hi Chaps

Wonder if I can get some help on a fault code.

Using Op-com, comes up as : P1530 - A/C Relay Voltage Low.

Faults I have at the moment - Flashers continiously flashing (Hazards)
(new switch fitted - still same)
Electrical fault/Glow plug warning light on.

Does the above fault code relate, i.e a multi function relay, and if so, which one ?

There is no Aircon in the vehicle, if that's what the A'C means.

Any help much appreciated guys.

hi Folks despereate forsome help ive just changed the fuel filter on my 2008 , 40k nissan primastar and van wont start i did fill new filter to brim and pump the filter pump aand van started for a minute or so then stopped and cant get goin any ideas much appreciated , gary

I've finally bought a van for the family, 9 seater Vivaro lwb and I absolutely love it.

I've found something in the boot that I can't identify or have any idea what it is supposed to do. It's behind the right rear wheel arch on the inside of the boot, behind a grill that comes off quite easily, see photos.

View attachment 27153 Hi all. I just done the shock top mounts on my primastar and I seem to have a gap between the top cap and body inside the engine bay after I lowered the van and took for test drive.
Everything was assembled correctly and checked... It's on both sides and I'm not sure it was there before...i have the Mot tomorrow and worried about this gap... Will it cause play or is it gravity that holds these... Il attach a picture... Thanks in advance guys..

Hi all I have a 2005 vivaro and I'm having a problem with the central locking it keeps locking and unlocking itself when parked, sometimes it will sit for days just unlocking with the indicators flashing as if I'm unlocking it all the time, I've changed the earth strap from the gearbox to the inner wing but don't know if there's anymore I can check before I send it in to Vauxhall for a £96 diagnostic scan! I've also removed checked and cleaned all the door locking mechanisms on all the doors.
